WHAT IS AMIGURUMI
Amigurumi (ah-mee-guh-roo-me) is the Japanese word which describes a small knitted or crocheted stuffed doll. There are two root words: ami, which means knitted or crocheted and nuigurumi, which means stuffed doll. The main difference between amigurumi techniques and general crochet is its use of three-dimensional shape. Amigurumi also utilize tighter stitches to keep shape.

Amigurumi is best known for its creative, cute (kawaii in Japanese), and whimsical styles. Amigurumi stuffed toys may represent animals, humans, or even inanimate objects like food. There are unlimited possibilities!

Welcome to my crochet world!
I started crocheting when I was about 10 years old when I saw my mother crochet scarves. They were colorful, fun, and easy to make. But it wasn't until I discovered the Amigurumi world in 2014 that I became obsessed! The original "kawaii" Amigurumi styles were so cute! I did not take my hobby seriously until 2020, when everything about life changed. I started to design my own Amigurumi in my spare time and documented it all on social media. As ideas kept flowing, and with support from fellow crocheters and art lovers, I decided to start my crochet small business! My passion for art (and yarn) drives me to create cute and beautiful things I can share with the world.
